Bathroom Vanities
Custom vanity cabinets, floating units, and bathroom storage built to fit your layout and finishes.
Bathroom vanities are often the visual anchor of a bath — the piece you see first and use every day. Koala Construction builds and installs custom vanity cabinets, floating units, tower storage, and makeup desks for homes across Greater Austin and the Hill Country. We fit to your plumbing layout, mirror size, and tile plan so the cabinet does not fight the room after the stone top is templated.
Floating vanities require solid blocking and accurate carrier placement; furniture-style bases need toe-kick details and floor transitions that work with your tile height. We coordinate with your plumber and countertop fabricator on sink centerlines, faucet drillings, and overhang before we build. That front-end alignment prevents the emergency field cut after the slab is on the truck.
Styles, storage, and suite coordination
Single-sink, double-sink, and his-and-hers layouts each demand different drawer configurations — deep drawers for towels, divided drawers for grooming items, and pull-outs for hair tools. Tower cabinets flanking a mirror add vertical storage without widening the vanity footprint. Open shelving niches can hold everyday items while drawers hide clutter.
Many primary baths include a vanity install alongside a walk-in closet or linen storage. Matching door style, hardware finish, and paint color across those pieces makes the suite feel designed as a unit. We can quote bath and closet together or phase them if your remodel schedule requires it.
Vanity work connects naturally to broader custom cabinet capability and to trim and millwork when you are updating baseboards, door casing, or wainscot in the same bath. For whole-home remodels, our kitchen team often runs in parallel so finish selections stay consistent house-wide.
Tile, tops, and waterproofing sequence
Bath remodels live or die on trade order. We confirm whether tile runs under the vanity or stops at the toe kick, how backsplash height relates to mirror centerlines, and where water lines and valves land relative to drawer depth. Powder baths, guest baths, and primary suites each have different storage pressure — we scope drawer volume and open storage accordingly.
Countertop material drives cabinet top rail height and sink reveal. Undermount, vessel, and integrated sinks each change how we build the box and where we leave adjustment room for the fabricator. We have installed vanities ahead of stone, after stone, and in phases where only the base lands first — we will match your GC's schedule.
Quote and install
Share your floor plan, inspiration photos, and whether the top is stone, quartz, or integrated sink. We will confirm wall flatness, outlet locations, and lighting plans that affect mirror width. Install typically follows rough plumbing and drywall, before final tile and glass — we will align with your GC on sequence.
